Planctons has its origins in the ocean, but for the past two years our sustainable eyewear brand has also been extremely present on land.
Among fashion-conscious eyewear wearers who prefer an ecological lifestyle, our sustainable eyewear made from ocean plastic is increasingly popular. For us, this development is hardly surprising, as our new collections remain true to the sustainability principle and now come with bold shapes and an expanded color palette.
Planctons eyewear is more than a fashion statement. They are a sustainable promise to the future. Water is the source of life and for us a symbol of always staying in the flow. That is why we have launched a campaign for the new planctons collection. It showcases the newly created planctons models with breathtaking images: Every pose a statement, every detail art. People and models merge with nature.
Our new models – bold, fashionable and ecological
Zaport, Unteraar, Turtmann, Silvretta, Plattalva and Morteratsch: the new planctons are named after the six Swiss glaciers that still exist but are threatened by rising temperatures. Their names are program: Due to their sustainable production from recycled ocean plastic, they show self-confident wearer of glasses a way to make a fashion statement and at the same time preserve the beauty of nature. The courage of form and color shows that planctons also stand out in this area from other eyewear that focuses on ecology and sustainability. In addition to anthracite, dark and light blue, black and red, these new models are now also available in the earth color brown, in response to market demand.

What began as a pioneering project has become firmly established in the local eyewear market. Planctons is now a permanent fixture in the shop windows of Swiss opticians who value sustainability.
