From the ocean, for a better future

As always with planctons, there’s more to our glasses than just style: each pair is handmade in the Swiss village of Lungern from 100% recycled ocean plastic. The raw material comes from Southeast Asia, where local fishers collect plastic waste from the sea – and are paid fairly for their work. The Basel-based company tide ocean transforms this waste into high-quality granulate. Without any additional pollutants or production waste and completely climate-neutral. That’s why this collection also proudly carries the label zero waste eyewear.
